How many people use MAL to track the anime that they've watched?  I remember when I was watching 20 episodes a day and using the MAL updater to keep up with what I was watching.

If I tried that now, I'd seriously break Comcast (though if I really decide to switch to fios, I'll try to hit 1TB before leaving Comcast)

I don't think I want to know how much total time I've watched.
Not that I'd be like those guys who are like, "Look at all the time I've wasted in my life!"
But more because my favorite series I'd have to count several times because of the many times I've watched them.
Seriously, I've watched Kannagi no less than 4 times and Minami-ke like 5. That's like 48 hours just between two series. Two 13 episode series. And then there's another that I can't think of at the moment that I've watched as many times.
So yeah, I could see myself as having many months total of anime watched.

i use mal pretty often. sometimes im watching 10+ series at a time and other times i'll leave a show unfinished for months so it comes in really handy.

  I, personally, hate going outside. Who knows what I'll miss? (Post parties, etc...) And it's so hot, I don't even bother.
  Once winter sets in, I might venture out, but in summer? No way, no go.
